Total Freedom At Wooda Farm

2016/7/26 14:50:52

A holiday taken on a holiday park is well worth considering, no ties that hotels and guest houses impose on you, having your own vehicle to explore and sightsee is a convenience you don't sometimes have when taking other types of holidays.

The Colwill family, who own and run Wooda Holiday Park, have over time developed this park into something quite special, indeed, a gem of a find for those seeking the perfect get-a-way.  Wooda Farm Park was once a working farm set in the Valley of Bush, and as the farm diversified into tourism the forty acres of parkland was turned into the holiday park it is today.

Every single detail has been taken care of at this Cornwall holiday park whatever the age group there is something for everyone.  Wooda has great empathy when it comes to their disabled guests and has a complete access statement to make sure that guests wishing to book will feel comfortable with arrangements encompassing wheelchair access.  In terms of accommodation wooda has 55 holiday homes, one of which is a two bedroom holiday home that has been specially designed for the disabled, with ramp access and fully adapted to their needs, also both of their holiday cottages can be accessed by wheelchairs.

If touring and camping is your thing there are 220 pitches around the park with views of Bude Bay and the surrounding countryside, and 63 of these pitches are hardstanding , with waste, water and electricity on the pitch for easy access.  The toilet and shower blocks are excellent and a disabled bathroom is located within one of the blocks, everything has been carefully thought about, because the family wants to make sure you have a comfortable and great time at their holiday park in Cornwall.

With so much to do either on the park or in the surrounding area you will be spoilt for choice, wonderful sandy beaches, for lazing, swimming, or surfing, Wooda has its own lake for the fishermen amongst you, a nine hole golf course, set in three acres of the park, clay pigeon shooting, indoor archery, and badminton can all be enjoyed on the park.

Wooda Farm Holiday Park has it all and is always improving in one way or another they must be doing something right they have been awarded a five star grading by the AA, and have won the David Bellamy Conservation gold award in 2009.

Freedom to choose camp site, caravan site, cottage, or luxury static caravans on this wonderful holiday park, and total freedom for all you walkers, the cliff tops at Bude are one of the most spectacular sections of the South West Coast Path.  Want to know more?
