Camping trips with family can be one of the most exciting and memorable activities undertaken. You must realize that camping means going back centuries in time without electricity, a shopping store or a clinic within reach and when needed. Foresee the eventualities and create a check list of important items to take along with you. Some important items include tents, pillows, blankets, torches, batteries, medications, canned foods and items to light a fire. Camping trip is a family experience and you should involve every member of the family in setting up a camp and other camping activities. During camping the food should not be lavish but it is important to keep the culniry delights as simple and natural as possible that requires minimum fuss not only in preparing but also cleaning up the food.

You may have a notion that camping in summer would not require warm clothes and blankets but the reality is quite different. In some areas it may get very cold in the night especially during summer months. So prepare appropriately.

 6.     Think of Camping as an Opportunity to Learn

Camping in the outdoors is not only meant to be a family trip but it is also an opportunity to be with the natural settings and enjoy the outdoors in its purity. It is an opportunity to learn new skills that were once essential part of life in antique.

 7.     Try to Avoid Electronic Items

Try to keep electronic items to a minimum as camping trips is a way to enjoy the outdoors, a family bonding experience, learning new skills to live in the natural outdoors and this can be done only if you avoid being engrossed in electronic items.

 8.     Relax and Enjoy

This is the most important tip during camping: Relax and Enjoy. You should treat the camping trip as a vehicle to enjoy the outdoors, relieve tension from every day routine life and build on memorable memories that not only lets you learn new skills but also strengthens family ties.
