The FR60is geared towards the multi-sport sportsman Unlike the higher endGarmin Forerunnersports watches, the Garmin FR60 is water-resistant to up to and is much smaller to wear. This means the FR60 issuitable forwateractivitiessuch as triathlon, open water swimmingplus much more extreme sports such as surfing


The Garmin FR60 can be joined withan optional Foot Podthat fits onto your sports shoes and sends a continous flow of data to your watch whilst you are out on a training session. You can see the live traininginformation on the Garmin FR60instantlyto check how how hard you are working in your current running, cycling or swimming set. The Garmin FR60records and displaysthings like lap pace, lap and total distance, time, and calories burned; all of thesecontribute to giving youthe best picture of your training performance.

You can combine the FR60 with a Heart Rate monitor for extraability. When paired with the HR monitor you can see your actualalong with average heart rate. This makes the FR60 anextremelyuseful training device as you can train tospecific heart rate zonesin accordance with your training goals.
