Indoor Cycling Training: Learning about Spinner Will Stand You in Good Stead

2016/7/25 14:50:46

For those people that wish to learn more about proper indoor cycling training the term “Spin” might not ring a bell immediately which is a pity because this term is to indoor cycling training what Kleenex is to facial tissues. The Spin bike in its original avatar was designed by a cyclist that specialized in racing cycle bikes and whose name was Johnny G. This bike was at the time meant for use in a garage and more particularly for winter indoor cycling training.

An Improvement Over Stationary Bikes

Now, years after the original Spin bike was developed and designed it has developed considerably though at the same time it should be mentioned that the first Spin bikes were really a lot better than stationary bikes and from those early times when people queued up outside Johnny G’s house for a spin till now the craze has not diminished in any way.

The second generation of this bike was brought out by Kaiser who along with a dancer named Karen Voight thought up a brilliant new way to do indoor cycling training. It did not take long for others to become interested in this concept and soon even Reebok joined in and designed their own indoor cycling training bikes that owed a lot of their design concepts to the Spin bike made by Kaiser and Voight.

Today, Spinning™ is a brand that originated the flywheel bike for use in the indoors and the Spinner™ bikes happen to be the most well known and well liked bikes for indoor cycling training – and for good reason. Not only are the bikes excellent but the backup support too is second to none and that is why gyms all across the nation and even in many parts of the world have at least one such bike on which people can do their indoor cycling training.

With a good stationary bike it is possible to get a lot out of your indoor cycling training and using the Spinner will certainly ensure that you get the maximum out of your efforts. Cycling weight training is of course an alternative method that you can use if you are serious about toning up your muscles and getting your body to look better and stay stronger. With this form of training you can build up sufficient stamina to endure even the toughest cycling events and young cyclists in particular will benefit a lot from it.
