Chicago Cubs is a professional team of Major Baseball League in America. Chicago Cubs, located in the Midwest, is the second senior team in Major League Baseball (the oldest is redskins). This history of the team can trace back to 1874 to the Chicago White Sox. In the 20 century there were many names are used for the team such as White Stockings, Colts, Orphan and so on, but they can't find a suitable name, until 1902 a newspaper reporter used the little bear (Cubs) nickname to the team which fully accept by the fans and widespread, in 1907 the Chicago Cubs formally became the name of the team and may be at that time the team has their own formally cheap authentic jerseys.

After the formal name was settled, the team came into the peak and trough alternating period. In 1907, the team re-entered the World Series and beat Detroit Tigers, won the first world champion and in 1908 the team pulled out the tiger claw again won the World Series championship. After that the Chicago Cubs never tasted the taste of the world champion again. In the 50s the team drop into low ebb, never played into the playoff. But there are still some players have excellent performance in the game. In 1955, the pitcher Sam Jones against for Pirates team became the first no-hitter pitcher in Chicago Cubs.
