A teenager was stabbed right in the back on a basketball court in Queens. Police officers are vowing to place a finish to group assault... This tragic incident is causing people to really wonder what is going on in their neighborhood. Who is safe and under what circumstances are people being attacked? It seems all too common to see more violence happen in these inncer city communities. Queens is home of many classic musicians who often speak about the area's high crime. The drugs moving through the neighborhood, as well as the poverty and struggle seen daily.

The 5-0 explained "no" plus they attacked. The team is described by authorities as eight to eight known team members. The 18-year old target overwhelmed and was stabbed.

Ny state Sen. Jose Peralta (N-Queens) and Nyc councilmember Daniel Dromm (N-Jackson Heights, Elmhurst) launched a declaration urging a person with details about the assault to alert authorities.

There has been no arrests and also the target has kept unknown for safety. At times when violent offenders get away, usually they must be found within 48 hours. Reason being criminals are very difficult to find after long periods of time. They often leave the general area and are near impossible to find beause of how big the world is. Many criminals live a life under a totally different persona, can you imagine that?


" to be able to reduce crime within our communities the town recently included 1,300 inclusion cops towards the pressure this season," said the record. "we shall continue to complete all that people could to place a finish to gang-related violence."

Both also stated these were planning for a combined city hall meeting using the Nyc Police Department to go over this latest influx of gang violence.

Let's see if the police can do anything to stop this. There has been a signifigant drop in crime in New York since back in the day. Previously there was a lot more gang violence similar to Chicago. After Mayor Gulliani and his more extreme measures crime dropped. Are we seeing a return of crime to New York? Is Queens still a decent area that is safe for everyday folk?
