Skin Care for a Soccer Player

Soccer players usually have hard lives. They have to work out in summers, under the sun and their exercises and games cause a lot of sweating. These factors affect the skin badly. As the skin affects your personality, so everyone wants to have a soft, smooth, clean and lively skin. Being a live soccer player, keeping the skin healthy seems to be a tough job as one doesn't have enough time, but you need to follow some simple tips to keep your skin healthy and fresh.

First of all you need to test your skin type that it is dry, normal, sensitive, oily, or the combination. To test your skin types:

Oily skin

Firstly wash your face and let it dry. You can also use a towel for drying. Now take a rice paper and press it on your face and check the effects on skin. If the paper has spots, then the skin is oily from those parts of the face.

Dry Skin

After washing the skin, it usually feels tight and may get red in unsuitable weather. Dry skin is always dull as compared to oily skin.

Normal Skin

This is the best skin type as it is smooth, even toned and elastic. You will feel a normal skin after washing too.

Sensitive Skin

The sensitive skin get reddishness very quickly, you may face rough skin and allergies in this case.

Combination Skin

This type of skin can be checked by observing the T-zone and V-zone of the skin. The T-zone includes the forehead, nose and chin while the V-zone includes the cheeks and some chin area too. Now you can check the above skin types for both the zones of your face. You will know the combination of your skin.

Now how to take care of your skin?

The first step is the healthy intake of food and other liquids. A soccer player needs a lot of water to avoid dehydration in the body and to keep the skin lively. Healthy diet containing vitamins and minerals will be very useful to skin. It includes vegetables and fruits.

To avoid the direct connection of sun and your skin, you can use sunscreens or sun blocks. Buy a good product according to your skin type. Always use it before the game time.

On the basis of your skin type and weather, you must use lotions, moisturizers and skin toners. It will help making your skin look good. If the skin is oily, then you must avoid oil on the skin because it can cause pimples. The basic principle is to keep skin clean and to avoid dirt and bacteria. You will not be facing allergies and rashes. Use anti-bacterial face wash, but don't forget to check the skin type mentioned. You can also use face masks once a week, to keep the skin fresh and clean. If your skin will be clean deeply, it will give a clear appearance.

So a live soccer player must not forget to care for his/her skin by using some simple techniques.
