Useful Tips For Windsurfing – Let The Action Begin

2016/7/27 16:50:41

Windsurfing looks tough, but it is not so if you know your basics well. Unless you become an expert in getting the first few steps right, it is impossible for you to move ahead. Read on to get some important tips on windsurfing.

1.Tips for starters –

You first need to keep yourself calm. Being nervous will lead to unnecessary movements that could lead to mishandling of the equipment and so you will not be able to enjoy the sport properly. It is very important to stay in balance and restrict the movements of your upper body. First you need to stand just as you would normally do on a piece of land. Then start putting some pressure on your heels or the toes.  If that doesn't seem enough, start moving your ankles, knees and then the hips. Finally, if nothing else seems to work, try moving your shoulders and hands.

2.Tips for the average windsurfer –

Let the logo be exposed. Windsurfers are generally offered money for showing off the logo. Those who can't show it off are charged some amount of money. It's surprising to see how offering of money can increase the enthusiasm of the players. The carve gybe is similar to a snow boarder's fast bottom turn. It is one of the most dramatic turns involved in windsurfing. To attain the right balance, it is important to put pressure on the inside edge with your feet so that the arc can be achieved with ease and comfort. And if there's no other encouragement, think about the exciting money offer you've got in your hands. The logo is generally placed on the lower panel of the board.

3.Tips for the expert windsurfer –

Forward looping is one of the most advanced exercise for expert windsurfers. It is a complete forward aerial motion that requires more of mental strength than physical energy. So how do you take this drastic step? Such an action is very similar to a somersault where you first use your head in the process. Turn your head towards the direction you're going and you will automatically get your action right. Once the rotation goes live, you have to look back and you'll get an excellent view of the sky. However, make sure you don't look forward or down as you are likely to panic and fall down in that case. Wear a watch on your hand and look back to see the time. In this way, by looking back, the entire experience seems less scary and there's no room for panic.

Keep the above mentioned 3 tips in mind before you pack your windsurfing gear this winter. All the best!
