Total Surfing Fitness - Review

I have always been interested in trying new training techniques and fitness programs. Most of the ones I used for the last few years has not impressed me at all. But when a few of my surfing friends started with the Total Surfing Fitness program, and I could really see how their surfing improved radically, I decided to give it a try.

At the moment I have been following this program for 8 weeks and my fitness level and surfing has never been better. The whole program is 12 weeks long, but just after 5 weeks I experienced the below results:

- I was able to stay in the surf a lot longer each session before getting tired

- Getting heaps more waves due to increased paddling strength resulting in more fun surf sessions.

- My flexibility increased dramatically, before I could hardly reach my toes

- Huge increase in board control and technical maneuvers

- Rediscovered the love for surfing!

What makes Total Surfing Fitness different from other programs that I have tried is how specific it is to surfing. The creator of the program, Clayton Beatty is not only a keen surfer and a personal trainer. He also has a degree in exercise and health science and knows exactly what type of fitness it takes to get the most out of your surfing.

I recommend Total Surfing Fitness for anyone who wants to surf better, longer and more powerful.

With this program you will also get some good fitness e books as a bonus.

The first one is a powerful outdoor workout which also comes with a surfing fitness test that measures your core strength, balance and upper body strength. The test determines your weaknesses and which muscle groups you need to focus on.

Included is also information about different kinds of food, nutrition and how what you eat effects your body.

The bonus I like the most is the "turbulence training" workout. A very powerful routine for fitness with full color photos and clear explanations for all the exercises.
