I have a question? Do you are have you had anyone come to you are neck surgery c4 - c7 Cervical surgery. I have one doctor telling me to not bowl ever. But he said not to bend over in the flower garden to pick out the weeds. I like that doctor but seems to be extreme. please reply asap like your web site. thanks

Haven't had anyone seek advice about a spinal injury. I'd strongly suggest you follow your  medical professionals advice. There is an obvious liability issue, so you may wish to seek a second opinion. My opinion should carry NO WEIGHT.

What I'd do is discuss with my doctor/surgeon how much I love the sport, how it provides exercise and can help keep me flexible and active. Your physical therapist should be able to discuss your desires with the doctor(s) and potentially make recommendations if they feel you are capable of more strenuous activity.

Under no circumstances should you attempt to bowl without full clearance from your medical team. Good luck and be well.
