playing center on the o-line

Question
hey jared i am a 15 year old junior in florida and i play starting center for my varsity team im 5'10 and weigh about 285 i am one of the strongest guys on my team benching over 300 and squating over 500 and i want to play college football, but i dont think i can because of my height. What should i do

Answer
I think that at your size and strength, you have a good chance of playing college football.  Most centers are not that tall, at the college level.  So just keep working hard on the field and in the weight room.  I would also like to encourage you to keep the grades up.  Truely this will be the number 1 factor that gets you a college football scholarship.  Along with your ACT or SAT score.  Do good in school and work hard and you can make a college team.  GOOD LUCK COACH Noel!
