Qb technique

I have asked a question here before and it was alot of help thanks. I just have a question about how to keep my techinique proper other than jsut throwing the ball. I just dont want to develop any bad habits when im practicing.

There is only one way to get this done.  Once you have the mechanics down, and can do them consistently, you have to pay attention!  Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to do this on your own.  In your mind's eye, it will always appear that you are doing things correctly. But this is usually not the case.  So you have 2 options, both of which SHOULD be taken advantage of.

1) Make sure you have someone "in the know", like a coach watching you closely.  Talk to him about what you need and want, and have him inspect your mechanics often. Be sure and tell him what you have changed and / or been working on so he can watch for any inconsistencies.
2) VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO.  Tape all, or as much of practice as you can.  Watch these tapes after each practice, and see if you can notice any problem areas in your throwing mechanics.  Just like a coach would watch tapes, so should you. You will be amazed to see how different things look, as opposed to how they felt when doing them.  You might feel like you are good to go, and after watching the films, be very surprised.  

The difficult part is getting the proper mechanics down pat.  Once you do that, a close eye is all you need to continue in the right direction.
