All Star Telescopic Fishing Rod

Can you tell me the age of this rod?  It is steel, black in color, three guides, cork handle and is labeled All Star, Richardsons, Chicago.  Made in the U.S.A.  It is very limber.

Richardson made some of the nicer of steel rods prior to WWII - probably the 1920s or 30s. These were made in high volume, and low cost in their day.

Usually these rods are missing a lot of paint and the cork is in bad condition. Unless its near mint, they don't command a great deal of value. Primary collector interest is in the custom built rods, particularly split bamboo fly rods.
