Answer
Andrew,
I changed this message to public so others can read about your type rod.

Hardy is English but well known in US and Canada. It isn't exactly in my book , Antique & Collectable Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000). Add 30% for age of book.

There is an in depth discussion on condition, you rod is in poor.

But it mentions 2 Hollolight  trout fly rods at 7 1/2  and 8 foot(gold parts) both with an extra tip.

The 7 1/2 is valued at $185, 325 and $695 for poor, good, excellent condition respectively, while the 8 ft ; $95, 195 and $325 . Most shorter rods command higher prices from the collectors.

Also listed is a Hollokona, Salmon Deluxe 9.5 ft, extra tip, valued at $90, 200 and $320 for poor, good, excellent condition respectively.

Did you find a serial number on it ? Bed glad to help you with it.

Right now your rod is worth $100  but if restored would probably bring 3 times that.

Luck,
Mac
