dense water

Question
Do fish swim faster in deeper water?

Answer
Deeper water is denser. In other words the molecules are packed closer together. The deeper you go the more water above you that is weighing you down. IF you pile 5 people on top of each other you get a similar affect. Each time another person gets on the pile the person on the bottom has a harder time moving. Same with water I would think. Some fish have developed over time in ways that allow them to swim fast in deep water.
I will be honest in saying I do not know for sure... however my education tells me that the deeper you go the slower fish swim, due to the density of deeper water.
