Heddon Mark iv #6923 fighing rod

Found this rod AT A Flea market would like to know if it has any value?
Heddon Mark 5 #6923 6' Controlled Flex (Medium) Action 3/8 TO 5/8 Lure 6#15 line. Still has the plastic on handle i was told it is at least 50 years old

Price Book: Antique @ Collectible  Fishing Rods: Identification @ Value Guide Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000) add about 30% for age of book.
Homel gives the Heddon "Mark IV" fiberglass fly rods 7 1/2-9' c.1965 the  value of  $7, 25 and $45 for poor, good, excellent condition respectively.

 I have sold a few fiberglass rods . The fact that it is even mentioned in Homel says it's a good rod and collectable.

People are amazed that 50 year old fiberglass rods aren't as valuable as the bamboo but it's collectors who set these prices. There is just not the interest that there is for bamboo.
