Vise

Question
I am new to fly tying, and fly fishing and I am thinking about what vise to get. I really don't want to spend a heap of money and although the rotary ones are nice, I don't think I am ready for one yet. Can you recommend a good starter model. I will be tying for trout and bass pretty much.

Answer
Joe,
Even though you are new to fly tying, I would still recommend that you purchase a rotary because it will make a big difference in your tying skills.

For a decent entry level vise try these links....

The first one I have used in the past and found it to be very good with strong jaws and light weight.

The second link is one of the better known and better quality brands. Let me know if I can help with anything else.
