fishing Ocean City, MD

Hi,

I am planning on visiting the OC, MD around the middle of March and summer.  I have never fished before, and I am looking for any informatino.  What kinds of rods are best?  I do not want junk, yet do not want to spend an incredible amount. What am I looking for, where to buy?  What about bait?  Any idea what types of fish are availabel for the season, ocean or bay? Any info. would be helpful.  Thank you,

A 'medium action' spinning rod is the closest thing you can get that would fit the bill. remember that fishing has a lot to do with personal preference, and it can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be. you can check online shops like basspro.com and cabelas.com for a wide selection of rods and reels, or ready paired 'combos'.
