Descending Weighted shafts!

Question
What is the pro or cons of a descending weighted shaft ( Black Gold) compared to a constant weighted shaft ( Project X). What is the principle of Descending weighted iron shafts? Thanks, Bill.

Answer
Hi Bill,

It's my understanding that descending weight design means that the shafts get progressively lighter from long-iron to short-iron lengths. There is a segment of players who prefer descending weight shafts because of their distinctive feel as the clubs progress into the shorter irons.

Other than feel, I don't believe there are any advantages. I can't think of any disadvantages other than cost, if they're much more expensive.
