02 bayliner 175 steering

hi guys, i have just bought a 2002 bayliner 175 capri,, however the steering is so hard it would nearly pull your arms off, its not a tilt problem, it just seems to be pulling to the left and when i go to turn right its nearly impossible.. can anybody help??

While I'm not a mechanical technician, it sounds like the steering mechanism is binding due to a malfunction or simple wear & tear. Best you consult a qualified & reliable marine mechanic to determine the exact problem and rectify it. In the long run, he'll likely cost you less time and money.
