evinrude v-4 ouboards

Question
i have inquired to purchase a used "mid 90's" evinrude 120-hp.  (The owner of the marine dealership was out and would not be back until 3/16/04 and I wanted to know as much as possible about the model years as I could) Can you tell me when in the 90's did evinrude build a 120-hp v4 engine.

if not, maybe who i could call.

I can advise you on mostly electrical and electronic issues. I Don't have service data or manuals for outboards here. Suggest that you contact any Evinrude service shop for details on the outboard. Please keep me in mind for tech help on electronic items.
