Dear Sir,
I recently bought a canoe at a yard sale made by North east canoe mfg. in Newport Vermont. I would like to know if they are still in business and how I can get in touch with them.

Sorry to be so long in answering.  Somehow I never got the first email announcing your question.

And also sorry I don't have that information at my fingertips.  I suggest you turn to one of the canoe enthusiast magazines. There are at least three of them, and they will have references to their advertisers.  They will also have some kind of email inquiry method for their staff, who may also be able to answer your question.

I am much more tied into the kayaking community, and at my level at least there is not much crossover to the canoeing community.  But if you follow up the magazine trail, I think you will quickly get the information you are seeking.
