new board

hi my name is cody and im 12 yrs old. i have recently satrted skating (this week) and i have a really bad board and i cant do anything on it. i read a beginners guide and it said independent trucks redz bearings and bullet wheels so i went online and got me a element board witht eh trucks and bearings like he said and i got to wheels. what i need to know is what size trucks and wheels do i need? im planning on getting a 7.5" wide board and also how long do i need it? im about 5' or 5'2 and weigh bout 100 so i dono wat i need! plz help me.

First of all, 7.5 is the size I use. DOnt get a long board whatever you do. Its really hard to practise and learn tricks on those. Everything else sounds really good.  Thats a good set to learn on.  The size of the wheels dont matter, but the smaller, the lighter, so that would help.  I really hope you practise a lot and get better, please get back to me and tell me about it.
