Question
could you please tell mehow to ride backward on blades. I can turn 180 degrees but then i just can't keep the backwards movement going. Please could you e-mail me back with the information

Answer
Well, it seems like you just aren't going fast enough.  You need to have enough speed when you spin around to keep going backwards.  Maybe you're losing your momentum during the spin.  How are you going about turning 180?  If you try to do a little hop and spin around, you won't lose any momentum.  If you're spinning with your wheels on the ground, that may account for the loss of momentum.  To actually build up speed going backwards, there's a certain technique.  It's hard to describe in words.  You move one skate at a time.  Think of pushing out with your skate, and letting your hip pivot.  Alternate one with the other, and you'll be able to pick up speed while you go backwards.  Again, it's hard to explain.  If you have a problem keeping your balance going backwards, try leaning forwards a bit more.  Bend your knees, get into a sitting position of sorts, and you won't fall, if you're having that problem.  If I haven't addressed your problem quite right, don't hesitate to email me again.

Good luck,
-Justin
