Naish Icon 130

2016/7/22 14:41:06

Question
Hi again-  I think I forgot to mention in my last question(about 30 min ago) that my Icon is 130 liters. Thanks.

Answer
Hey Vlad,

You did have the 130 in your subject line. You mentioned your experience level but not your size. If you are a larger sailor (say 190lbs+) then you might need a little more sail for your winds. A 130ltr board with a 7.0-7.8 sail would probably need about 12kts for a medium weight sailor (150-180lbs) and about 15+kts for a sailor 190+. These are guesstimates but may help you find the sail size for your average conditions. You should be able to go up to a 9.0 with that board.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
Windlover
