Bic flexible mount

QUESTION: I am looking for a mount for a Bic 13 ft windsurfer. Any leads appreciated

ANSWER: Hey Mike,

It sounds like you need a mast base for an older model Bic. The only advice I can give is to check ebay and craigslist. I have yet to find a place that stocks the older Bic parts. If you have the plastic parts and need a new rubber universal joint, those are readily available. Let me know more specifically what parts you are needing and I may be able to help.

If like the pics, then it will be tough finding a mast foot for your board. You will just have to keep watching ebay and craigslist for something to come along.

Now if your board is like this;

With just a slot for the mast base, then it will be an easy fix to get you on the water. You can go to oceanairsports.com to find parts and mast bases + extensions to fit the newer slot type mast tracks. Just click on windsurfing, then parts, then Chinook for mast base parts. Under windsurfing, click bases for complete set ups.
