Question
Hi I am interested in purchasing jump skis, but I just started and just starting to cut at the ramp.  I am 5'7" and 125lbs. Could you help me out on which size to get and if you reccomend a certain typ?  Thanks

Answer
Meg,
It sounds like we are about the same size.  I have jumped on everything from 74" to 84" jump skis over the last 10 years and have been this same size.  Depending on how aggresive you plan on being and how much time you plan on devoting to jumping, your ski size of choice can vary.  If you want to do it only in collegiate tournaments or only on occassion, try to stay around 78" skis.  If you can spend a lot of time riding jump skis and plan on doing this for a while, invest in a pair about 80-82" long..  Make sure your bindings are set up right too.  This is very important.  Email me at [email protected] if you have any further questions or go to our website at www.cobleskischool.com .  Good luck and if I can help you more, please ask.  Take care.
