Starting diving

Question
I am going to be a sophomore (15yrs) in high school and i've always wanted to try diving. I am a swimmer, and I don't know whether I should give up swimming, or continue with swimming as well as start diving. Is it too late for me to start?

Answer
Marisa - You are not too old to start diving but do not wait any longer. You will need to transform your body type to a diving one as a swimmers body is very different from the kind you need to be a diver.I don't know if you should quit swimming as I do not know what level you are at. If you are an excellent swimmer, you may want to stay with that sport and do recreational diving instead.
