Safety Of Swimming Pool

2016/7/21 15:26:30

Swimming pool is an open small area in which the water is collected within the determined boundaries. A person who knows swimming can easily swim in it in order to take a bath. The water in the pond is usually seven to eight foot deep therefore if the person does not know how to swim then he would be drowned. There are a number of safety measures which should be taken in swimming pools in our houses. The swimming pools in our houses need a large number of safety measures. All of us have heard about large number of cases in which the small kids accidentally fall into the swimming pool of the house and as they do not know how to save themselves and no elderly member of the family is near them.

Therefore in order to avoid such incidents bars or fences should be maintained around the boundaries of the swimming pool. The styles and the sizes of the fences vary from one another and the person should select that fence that harmonizes with the boundaries of his pool. There are mesh fencing, steel fencing, vinyl fencing etc. You should advice your kids to not to go near swimming pool and if still they do not obey you then strictly prohibit them. You should not let your children go near the pool in your absence and should always go with them when they want to take a bath in it. In the swimming pools two types of water depths should be maintained the deep and the shallow and the children should play in the area of shallow water. Try not to give any type of toys to your kids in the swimming pool because in this case there are chances that while playing they lose their balance and fall in the deep area of your pond. You should always monitor the activities of your children.

As the house owner you should take care that the water in your pool should be clean to avoid all type of skin problems and infectious diseases. The filthy water must be constantly removed from one end and the fresh water from some external main source should continuously enter the pond. Without the proper drainage the filthy water will cause a large number of health problems to you. Therefore instead of getting sick and frequently going to the doctor you should follow all the safety measures in your house. The cleansing and disinfections materials should be added in the pool. In case of swimming pools the most commonly used disinfectant is the chlorine. Dettol should also be added to water. Take care that no mosquito’s or other insects breed in your pond. You should ask your servant to empty your swimming pool and clean the tiles of the ponds. This is the only way by which you can clean your swimming pool. So by taking a bit care you can enjoy a swimming pool in your house.
