Why Go Camping In France

Surprisingly enough, France is a popular destination for campers because there are many attractions there to be enjoyed. Sure, you can go and stay in a hotel and be pampered, but you'll get closer to nature and feel more in tune with the countryside if you camp. There are a lot of places around France where you can camp out and see all kinds of amazing things, and the weather is warm and nice in some of these areas all year round, so it doesn't matter what time you take your vacation – you'll still be able to camp out and enjoy it. You won't bake in the summer or freeze in the winter in places like Argelés sur Mer. It's at the foot of the mountains and near the sea, so you get the best of both worlds as well as the scenery when you pick that area as your camping destination.
When you camp near mountains and also near water you basically double your opportunities to do things and to have activities that will interest you. It opens up possibilities that you would otherwise not have had if you would have only been near one or the other, and that definitely makes it worth considering. This is especially true of larger groups of campers, because there will be more diversity and more people looking to do activities that not everyone agrees on. When you go camping in France and stay somewhere with a lot of options you give your group free reign to do what they like and you create options for great stories around the campfire at night, as well.
Another reason to go camping in France is Chenonceau Castle. There are many castles in the Loire Valley, so Chenonceau isn't the only one that you can enjoy. The stately mansions, royal palaces, and other structures have so much to offer and there are a multitude of them that you and your travelling companions can spend your days looking through before camping out again during the night. Many people camp in the Loire Valley, and others take day trips there from Paris, both of which are good options.
