3 Valuable Points To Develop A Camping Grill

2016/7/26 16:30:39

Suggestions to make a camping grill include collecting all the important materials, using stones or concrete blocks and utilizing an aluminum pan.

Camping activities are great to do, especially during summer time. And, a camping activity wouldn't be complete without barbecuing some food. If you don't have a camping grill, you can create one out of very inexpensive disposable supplies, and you don't have to worry about the washing too.

Gather all the necessary supplies

The basic supplies you will need to produce a camping grill include an aluminum pan, some concrete blocks or bricks, a barbeque grill rack, and a few pieces of charcoal. Have these elements ready, so you will be able to complete your outdoor camping grill easier and quicker whenever you are already at your camping spot. Buy these things from the grocery store, if you need to, or get other alternatives in your house. For example, if you do not have an aluminum pan in your house, you can use an old cake pan. A smoker is also another choice. This will be used as a base where the charcoals would be put. A cooking tray is also important since this will be where the meat will be placed on while grilling. Ensure that it is made of a material that will not dissolve or burn into flames when place into a fire. A rack made of steel or aluminum will be best for this job. However, if you can't find an item at home that you can utilize as a grilling tray, just go to the nearby store which sells these items. You would be able to buy a rack at a very reasonable price.

Use an aluminum pan

You can build an improvised camping grill by using an aluminum pan. Simply put charcoals within it, and then light the charcoal. You can light the charcoal easier and quicker if you pour a bit of lighter fluid into it before putting fire. After you've properly lit the charcoals, put the grill on top of the metal pan. Let the charcoal light, and ensure that it won't generate any fire since it could burn the food quickly. You can sprinkle a little bit of water to douse the flame and manage the glowing charcoal. All you have to do now is to place the pieces of meat on the rack and start grilling.

Use stones or cement blocks

Rather than the aluminum pan, you can also use stones or cement blocks. All you must do is create 2 stacks of cement blocks or stones. Save some space at the middle of your piles to put the charcoals. Be sure that your bricks can support and keep your rack atop the charcoals. An easier way to use the bricks would be to put two sections opposite each other, forming a cube. Be sure that you have adequate area in between to put the charcoals and hold the grill above. Fill the space with charcoals and light them up. Then, position the grill over the brick portions, put the meat on the grill, and start grilling.

Be careful when dealing with fire. As much as possible, avoid getting burnt or spreading the fire.
