What to do before going for Caving

Remember when we were kid or teenager we used to get into our neighborhood caves with a flash light or some other light to explore the world.  Since the place was in your neighborhood, so no fear of any wild animal, ghost in your way to get in the cave.  If you are sober about adventure and want to explore some big and unexplored caves, you need to think of some serious security preparation because these are not your neighborhood caves. Here are few tips from for you which can help you to prepare an enjoyable and safe caving trip.

Research about cave before caving

Get the information about the cave as much as you can, because caving adventures are not same from one another, need different skills to explore the cave. There are some caves which have streams in them which means you also need to check weather before going because a high risk of flood. Lots of cave required climbing proficiency, find how many feet you need to climb because you are the one who knows your energy and stamina well, for climbing you may need more complex climbing equipments.  Know clothing requirements because major of caves are very cold and wet, you need to wear a dress which averts hypothermia which is a foremost issue in the cave. Have your daily medication and a first aid in your bag and water for proper hydration. To knowing environment and other things about the cave will help you to estimate your skills if you are companionable for that cave or not.

Never go alone for caving

Yes! Forger your neighborhood caves now, you are going for a big adventure trip. Never ever endeavor go alone for caving. A minimum of three and maximum of five people should go for caving adventure. A team plays important role in this adventure, if someone gets injured, one can sit with the member while other will go to seek the help, Inform you family member or anyone whom you trust about your caving trip before going, let them know everything such as location, schedule, nearest medical facility etc.

Keep all required equipment

You will have to keep or use some very basic caving equipment s while going for caving but you can add more equipment as per your requirement. Basic equipment are a helmet, flashlight, knee-pads, gloves and cloths as per caves' inside environment. You must know and understand equipment you carry and how or when to use them. You also can keep some advance gazettes that will help you.

Caving is an awesome adventure which makes you feel this earth's dominion and an incredible mystery of the earth. When going for caving do not leave any plastic and other things which can litter inside. Enjoy your trip!
