How to Make an on the Spot Camping Stool

As long as you have some rope, this stool, with the addition of some padding, can be made anywhere that you can acquire three strong, straight, or almost straight, sticks. Makes a sturdy resting place for camping, sitting about or for nature craft.

Steps

1. 1 Cut three straight, stout sticks to equal lengths of about 1 metre (3 feet).
2. 2 Tie the sticks loosely together. Tie them about one third the way down their length with strong rope.
3. 3 Separate the longer ends. Place them so that they form an equilateral triangle on the ground, the whole making a miniature tepee shape
4. 4 Put in padding. Add padding, such as a cushion made from grass stuffed into a bag. Place the "cushion" the resulting "cup" at the top of the stool.
5. 5 Set it down firmly and sit on it.
