Cruising Australia in a Cruisin' Hi-Top Campervan

The Cruisin 2-3 Berth Hitop Campervan is a great option for those on a budget looking to explore all that Australia has to offer.

The Hitop is a compact and economical option and provides a comfortable bed and kitchenette for those wanting somewhere convenient to sleep on their great Australian campervan adventure.

"So many people hire the Hitop because it is so easy to drive and has all your basic travelling needs. It's great for couples or small families wanting to save money and experience campervanning for the first time," said Grant Lucas, manager of Cruisin' Motorhome Rentals.

This condensed but comfortable vehicle has a range of facilities on-board to make your journey that little bit easier. For the long coastal drives there is a radio and CD player to keep you entertained. The Hitop is equipped with numerous kitchen facilities so you can prepare a cooked meal in the privacy of your campervan.

"The Hitop has a 62 litre fridge, 2 burner gas stove, microwave, toaster and all your cooking appliances. It's so easy to live a self-contained lifestyle in this great van," said Grant.

Cruisin' gives you the option of hiring a foldable table and chairs set so you can enjoy your cooked meal under the stars. At night, experience a relaxing slumber in your spacious double bed with a single overhead bed that is ideal for a child. The dinette folds into a spacious dining table during the day.

The vehicle has power-steering, great fuel consumption and is easy to drive for first timers. The Hitop is only slightly larger than a car and is easy to manoeuvre through city streets. Though the vehicle does not have a bathroom, it is so easy to use the clean and spacious amenities blocks available at all powered campsites.

"These days most people use the park toilets and showers.  Almost all parks have toilets and great hot water showers and are just a short walk away from your campervan. Parks are well-equipped to deal with all your travel needs and most even have their own camper's kitchen and free BBQ area.

"It is so easy to meet new people and make friends when you're staying at caravan parks. People congregate around the kitchen at night and share stories of their travel experiences. You really have the option of staying in the comfort of your motorhome or socialising with your fellow campers. It is flexible," said Grant.

The Hitop is the ultimate backpacker vehicle and is popular among youngsters spending a GAP year exploring all that Australia has to offer.

"We chose to rent the Hitop because it was cheap and had everything we need. There's a kitchen to cook in and the bed is a great place to crash at night. Most people assume that it's not comfortable to spend the night in the vehicle but it's cosy," said Rosie Jones who recently travelled around Tasmania in the vehicle.

So don't get left behind and quench your thrist for adventure. Grab your bags and hit the road and experience everything that Australia has to offer!
