However, while riding bikes it is always important to cover yourself with protective gears like kneecaps, elbow protectors and bicycle helmets.

Bicycle helmets are considered to be one of the most important bicycle gears. It protects you from unexpected accidents which may happen like tripping over a curve, turning so soon at high speed which made you crash into a corner wall, and worse, bumping another moving vehicle. In accidents like these, you must be able to protect your head against a hard object which can cause concussions.

All bicycle helmets are crafted out of hard plastic on the exterior and polymer foam made of expanded polystyrene on the interior. It is the thickness of the polystyrene that combats any impact and can withstand force up to five meters per second in velocity. The helmet is also designed in such a way that it does not provide any discomfort to the wearer.

The exterior of these helmets are made out of brightly colored thin plastic shell that is elongated in its shape, with aerodynamics shape. The interior of the helmet in expanded with twenty millimeter lined polystyrene. It is very light head gear and is perfect to protect the rider from serious injuries during minor accidents.

Mountain type helmet is especially designed for children under the age of five and provides enhanced protection in the rear.
