2016/7/16 16:36:59

If you're an avid sports fisherman, a professional fisherman or just someone who enjoys dipping your line in the water and relaxing every so often, then chances are you either know about or have used a spinning fishing reel.

They are pretty simple to use which makes them commonly used fishing equipment. They could be utilized for various kinds of fishing. Backlash is pretty much non-existent which means that you don't have to spent time untangling the reel or brooding.

A spinning reel basically falls into three categories, the ultra-light, light and heavy. The ultralight spinning reels can handle up to 6 pounds of test line and can cost as low as $5 or $200 tops.

The second type of reel is the light spinning reel, which is apparently the most commonplace variety of spinning reels used. These spinning reels are capable of providing you with a very real experience of fish fight as you pull your reel back. These can cost you as low as $6 and on the higher end can cost upwards of $250.

Last but not least are the heavy spinning reels, which are perfect when you're going after big fish that want to put up a big fight. Heavy spinning reels can hold up to a 50 pound test line and are even used for bottom fishing. They range in price from $10 to a whopping $900. If you're going for the big one, this is the spinning reel you will need.

If you are on the look out for spinning reels, the best thing to do is to go to a fishing supply shop and ask the shop assistant questions that will help you make a knowledgeable decision based on what kind of fish you want to catch, what type of waters you will be fishing in, what variety of tackle you have/use, and so on. You can also consider buying a fishing reel online as they can be cheaper than the retail prices. If you spend some time scouting, you will definitely end up getting a spinning fishing reel for a bargain that you can enjoy for a long time to come.
