The Bedford Creek Marina and Campground is located on the eastern basin of the great lake. They accommodate tents and any size RV, offering full hook ups and water and electric sites. There is plenty to do here for the whole family. Relax or swim on the private beach, play at the playground, volleyball court or basketball court. Water enthusiasts can rent boats, kayaks or canoes, there is gas, bait and tackle available on site so you will not have to travel far for your fishing needs.

On the eastern end of the lake, the small-mouth bass and yellow perch are abundant. Large-mouth bass and trophy walleye lure many anglers to these waters. The Thompson Park Zoo and Old McDonald's Farm are short drives from Bedford. Since 1920, this zoo has been involved in caring for wild animals from the area. North Country Nights is the most recent addition to the zoo. Here children can watch nocturnal animals in their natural habitats. On the farm, you can visit Sheepville, Cowville and Goatville. There are hayrides, pony rides, miniature golf and several other fun activities.
