Cost of Fly Fishing Lessons

One prominent school on the west coast of the United States charges $160 for a single day of fly fishing lessons which includes all the equipment, a fly fishing manual and has a maximum of five students. Their two day school costs $375 while the advanced two day fishing school costs $425. This package includes transportation to the fishing area and has a maximum of three students.

If you want to save some money and have the convenience of learning to fly fish while sitting on your couch there are a variety of videos and books about fly fishing lessons. Taking lessons however will increase your abilities when you’re fishing with flies at your favorite fishing location.
