Salt Boilie Bait Recipes And Belachan Carp And Catfish Baits For Big Fish!

If you have tasted prawns or shrimps then you will know that they taste much better with a coating of brine, or salt! The salt factor is highly significant in enhancing the impacts of these food items. This is part of the exceptional impact of Belachan and related shrimp and prawn products that have been salted giving excellent fish catching capacities! For more information on salt and the best fermented prawn and shrimp baits read on now!

Belachan is of course a taste enhancer extraordinaire, its ability to attract are massive, but its greats power if the range of true fish feeding triggers in concentration it pumps out into the water in solution. These seriously turn your fish on! Basically shrimps are salted and allowed to decay naturally so that the proteins within the shrimps are broken down by micro-organisms by fermentation digestion.

After a period of time the rich pre-digested material is milled and compressed as paste and air-dried naturally, but then re-fermented. Eventually it is formed into dough blocks for sale. The biological nutritional availability and nutritional stimulation of Belachan makes it among the most successful bait additives for carp and many other species too!

One of the key characteristics of Belachan is the high salt content which makes it ideal for enabling any bait to be far more efficient are attracting carp because of the improved leakage of all other baits substances from baits as a result of the action of the salty Belachan sucking water inside baits. Fermented shrimp powder type products may have less salt, and massively more protein content. This means that some powdered fermented shrimp products have massively more concentrated levels of fish feeding triggers in the form of attractive and feed-stimulatory feed-triggering soluble amino acids.

Even this form of less salty Belachan type product sucks water into itself and this is a kind of effect that I love to exploit extremely powerfully within baits in regards to my choices of a great range of additives and ingredients in both powder and liquid forms.

Belachan not only contains a very rich concentrated profile of free form water soluble amino acids that are highly digestible and easily assimilated by carp, but feed-triggering amino acids such as glutamic acid that especially enhance impacts of other bait ingredients too.

The amino acids within fermented shrimp block and related products are very concentrated and highly water soluble, so are easy for carp to detect, as the combination of Belachan and shrimp amino acids are highly representative of what carp their senses have been evolved to be most sensitive to within their aquatic environment. It makes absolute good sense to exploit this fact in any direct and related way you can! By initially thinking about the exploiting of carp senses you will always have guaranteed great bait!

Belachan is very high protein food and both the powder and block will be over 60 and 70 percent protein making them exceptional additives for almost any bait use. An example of very high protein fermented shrimp products are the CCMoore versions, including their Belachan liquid. You can apply Belachan and fermented shrimp products to endless  solutions; making dips and glugs,  preparing particles, pastes, boilies and pellets, defrosting seafood baits, soaking fish and meat and other such baits, even maggots and sweetcorn for example to boost them!

You can sprinkle fermented shrimp powder over heated wet baits about to dry, and include Belachan powder, gratings and pieces and liquid in ground baits, spod, stick slop, method and for many PVA type presentation approaches etc. Belachan pieces and gratings are a really excellent PVA bag addition, perhaps used for example alongside with steeped in liquid Belachan or liquid Robin Red or CCMoore Red venom which is also so effective in summer and winter.

There are so many wonderful options once you get your mind into how Belachan works in water and many very great lessons in this statement in regards to a vast myriad of baits and how to maximize them in certain ways!

Water is already highly reactive with salts, and carp and catfish exist in a soup of dissolved mineral salts, and differences in concentrations of such minerals and trace elements etc are very attractive to fish! (The further ways to exploit salts and fermentation are so exciting!)
