Video: How to Tie the Rapala Knot

2016/7/16 10:19:48

Flies and lures tied to line with a loop give the lure greater movement as you work it through the water, and that small bump up in motion can play a big factor in whether or not a fish bites.

The Rapala knot retains 89 percent of the line strength, so it’s stronger than many others. The wraps wind up ahead of the initial overhand knot, spreading out the stress from a smashing fish. It’s easy to learn and easy to tie.
