The Field & Stream Adventures Podcast: Paddling Quetico, Episode 2

You can’t have a good adventure without hardship and a little danger. We got plenty of both in episode two of Paddling Quetico. Right after our float plane dropped us off, we were hammered by a four-hour-long thunderstorm. After getting soaked from sweat and rain and chased off the river by lightning, we had to make a tough call with nightfall fast approaching: paddle through the lightning storm to make camp, or try to wait it out and risk freezing. 

So check out the second episode of a seven-part series that follows our paddle trip through Canada’s Quetico Provincial Park—a massive wilderness area spanning more than one million acres along the Minnesota/Ontario border.
