I love "spoof" flies. I've seen them tied with bullets, springs, bubble gum wrappers, and a number of other unmentionable things.
This one, provided by my buddy Henry Koltz from Wisconsin, takes a poke at the obsession many of us have with weighted flies. It was actually a pattern that he tied as part of an NCAA pool where the losers had to tie the winner flies (not a bad idea).
