Mexican bass fishing trips is the latest hot spot with sport fishermen around the world. The idea of taking a bunch of friends and spend some time together in a tropical location while fishing for one of the most remarkable fish in the world appeals to many. They know that Mexico's lakes are well stocked, therefore offering plenty of catch for all. Since bass is a top game fish, it has a wide appeal to many.

The lakes of Mexico have been stocked back in the last Century with stock from Florida among others. Today these stocks have grown into healthy fishing grounds with a wide variety of bass of all sizes. There are butterflies and peacock bass and even largemouth bass. There is more than enough fish to go around for all who visit Mexico with the intention of fishing and you will be delighted to see the rich diversity of bass fish in Mexico.

They often come home wanting to do it all over again because it was so much fun. Many lodges perched on the shores of these lakes cater to the bass fishermen's needs. They offer packaged tours for all tastes and budgets and they range from women only groups to corporate outings. You should find a group to stick with and most likely you even end up gaining new fishing friends for life.

Some of the lakes known for top fishing in Mexico are huge, ranging in 50,000 acres size. This offers solitude for outdoor fans with plenty of lonely spots to indulge in your hobby. Nobody will bother you. As you can see, plenty of room to cast your bass rod.

Peacock bass are vicious fish. They love a good fight and are certainly not easy to catch. Using the right strength lure and fishing rod will go a long way toward success. But it is also your skill and patience that will decide the ultimate - a catch or not.

An all year round good climate and plenty of sunshine see Mexico as a favorite holiday destination with many bass fishermen. There is hardly a better way to spend the day than by enjoying your fishing with some new found fishing buddies. Add to this the weather and warm water and you find yourself in fishing heaven.

The dry season is the best seasons for Mexican bass fishing. Right at the beginning of it your chances to catch a big fat fish are highest just when the rivers start to recede and the waters dry out. It will make for a memorable dinner feeding plenty of people back at the lodge.

Beginners should first learn how to cast their lures and what to look for when choosing bait hooks. There are various types on offer and depending on what size fish you intend to catch you need to stick with a certain kind.

Going on a Mexican bass fishing trip certainly offers plenty of reasons to have the time of your life. Most likely you'll come home with plenty of stories to tell your children for years to come.
