Giant Sea Bass Diet: What Do They Eat?

Giant sea bass primarily feed on other fish, including rockfish, lingcod, sheepshead, and other smaller species. They are opportunistic predators and have been known to consume squid, octopus, and crustaceans as well. Juvenile giant sea bass typically feed on smaller fish, such as anchovies, sardines, and mackerel. As they grow larger, their diet expands to include larger prey items such as other fish and invertebrates.
