The Right Crankbait At Your Fingertips

2016/7/18 12:15:58

Have you ever opened up your crank bait box and go to pull out a crank and you end up pulling out three others at the same time due to the hooks are all tangled with each other? What about looking through your box while pre- fishing or in a tournament looking for that certain crank bait wondering where it was?

This season I had the opportunity to try out the Crank Caddy crankbait boxes. These boxes made it simpler for me to find that crank at a glance without having to open the lid to look for it. The boxes have a slot that the hooks slide into which place the hooks off your crank bait body that not only eliminates the hooks from getting tangled up with another cranks hooks but also protects your crankbait paint job.

When pre-fishing we all know the importance of size, color, running depth and style of crank. The Crank Caddy has made this a lot easier not to procrastinate about changing cranks to find which crankbaits that would be better than others for the tournament. Once you know which ones are producing better, I like to place those ones in another Crank Caddy box for the tournament leaving the others on shore. By doing this not only saves space in my boat but also allows me at a glance to pull out the one I what to use or change to another crank quickly.

The tackle boxes can accommodate three different sizes of inserts. The small insert will hold 42 small crankbait, the medium will hold 28 medium crank bait, and the large one will hold 12 crank bait. For more info on the Crank Caddy go to http://www.crankcaddy.com/.
