Oh that Vibration!

Find that vibration annoying while fishing? Try these tips.

For those who use metal outboard motor tanks, here is a tip to keep them quiet and the bottom of them rust free. Slit a piece of old garden hose along the length and fit it around the bottom lip of the tank. Trim the ends and glue them together. This will last a very long time.

Try placing cheap indoor outdoor carpet on the floor of your boat to keep the vibration down on other objects like oars, nets and tackle boxes. It will also help protect the bottom from marks and dings when items are drop. You will also make less noise when you move around so you will scare fewer fish.

Hopefully this helps making a long day in a boat better, especially if you’re not hooking anything… FISH-ON! Cookster
