My First Mystery Tackle Box

As a shore angler, I love to experiment with new baits and lures, so when I stumbled upon some Mystery Tackle Box unboxing videos on YouTube my interest was instantly peaked. Though Quebec offers some fantastic shore fishing opportunities, the selection of tackle shops is very limited and I'm often relegated to picking and choosing from the minimal selection available at big box stores like Walmart and Canadian Tire. This was one of my main motivating factors for subscribing to Mystery Tackle Box. I signed up for a three month subscription in the hopes of getting some new baits and lures I don't normally have access to, and after unboxing my first August 2013 box my hopes were quickly fulfilled. Included in my August 2013 Mystery Tackle Box were: 4 x River2Sea Stand'n Yabbie Craw Baits in Black/Blue 3 x V&M Swamp Hogs in a Green Watermelon with Black Flake 3 x Big Bite Baits 6" Stick Tail Worm 2 x Lunkerhunt Floating Jerk Baits 2 x Mustad Ultra Lock EWG Hook Usually $15/month, as this was my first box I got it for just $5. Definitely a steal of a deal. All the lures and baits I received added up to a roughly $20 value, and though it was a great value, the best part for me was getting my hands on some brands of baits and lures that I've never had before. I've never seen products by River2Sea, V&M, or Big Bite Baits in Quebec store, so it was very exciting to get some new gear. Needless to say, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what shows up in my September Mystery Tackle Box, and would recommend to anyone interested in trying out exciting new baits to sign up for a subscription, it's well worth.
