James Smith born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina, James has spent most his time in the outdoors fishing and hunting.  James has ten years of media and broadcasting experience, with such television stations as WCTI-TV12, ABC, and UPN48 networks.  Now living in Canada James has brought his experience and knowledge of the fishing world to us as  host of Fish Bait Radio & TV.


The show consists of outdoor talk radio on tournaments and fishing tips in the US and Canada with live guests from time to time. They showcase new products, check in on local fishing reports, highlight charities, and talk about all things fishing.


One of the highlights of the show is allowing listeners to interact with the guests, recently one of the guests was FLW pro and BASS Master Elite angler Dave Wolak.  Listeners were able to call in and ask Dave questions. Some of  the other recent shows were attack of the Asian Carp, The Lady Bass Anglers Association, and Zipper Worm Company reviews. The  Anglers Way Point Team also offers tips on tournament angling, and fishing gear.

James is also a fellow WFN Ambassador. I had the pleasure of meeting James at numerous fishing events last year and it was always good fishing talk with James. His fishing knowledge is a cut above, James knows the industry from the inside out.

Fish Bait Radio is a proud supporter Reel American Heroes Foundation.  This foundation raises money  to promote recreational activities for active duty soldiers and retired or injured veterans.

Fish Bait Radio also supports  Kids Fishing For a Cure.  This is a non profit organization which provides financial support  to reach hospitals and  foundations dedicated to developing a cure for cancer and childhood diseases.
