Golf Etiquette For Beginners

Golf Game Etiquette For Beginners,

Golf is a ennobled game of rules and styles, and
it’s important to know the basic principle before you play for
the first time.

Whether you're playing alone, in a duo or a
foursome, you must wait your turn. You must keep in mind
of the group on the next hole and wait until they're
well ahead of you prior to hitting your ball.

It’s never cool to "force" the group in front of you.
If you're playing with other people, wait for your turn to
hit the ball; never hit at the same time as different
player.

While you wait for your turn, go to your ball and
Decide what club you’ll require and how you're going
to hit it. This is known as "ready golf" and keeps the
game going. Don’t race, just be ready.

If your team is detaining the participants behind you, allow
them play through. You'd merely wave them through,
or if they're close enough, ask them if they’d wish
to play through. You'll never create an enemy in behaving
in this manner!

While an individual is preparing a shot, you had better be behind
them and you shouldn’t make a sound! It is so
distracting to be prepare to tee off and just as you
pull back, somebody decides to jingle the change in their
pocket or noisily unwrap a piece of candy.

Put back your divots. While, in the fairway, you strike the
ball and a chunk of soil and green goes aviating, put it back
. With some courses you just put the chunk back and
step on it to compact it ; on most courses, there is a
sand/seed mixture on your card to put into the divot.
If your ball causes a deep impression once it lands on
the green, use your divot tool to mend it.

When you have finished a hole, put back the flag
and exit the green so that the following players can play.
Calculate your score and write it on the scorecard once
you’re back at your cart.
Naturally, there are many more principles of golf, but
these simple ones will enable you to get through the
course without becoming an annoyance to anyone. We must
all keep the game respectful, right?
