You may wonder, "What will be on the menu for my moose hunt in Alaska?" Assuming you have chosen a great moose hunting outfitter, you will be served a variety of delicious fare. Considering the fact that you are flown into a remote camp, there is still a large variety of tasty food to choose from. Your day will begin with a hearty breakfast of a variety of proteins such as breakfast sausage, bacon, or eggs. This may be served with English muffins, bagels, or pancakes. Several days may be lighter with servings of oatmeal and toast and the occasional biscuits and gravy. All of these options are served with great tasting cowboy coffee, hot cocoa, or tea.

Your lunch is generally on the go when you are on your Alaska moose hunting trip. You can have a huge selection of snack treats, some sweet and some salty to choose from. To go with the snacks you will probably want a ham sandwich. Sometimes a "no doubt about it" real peanut butter and jelly sandwich is what hits the spot while on your moose hunt. Or, you may be in the mood for summer sausage, cheese, and crackers. There's enough for everyone and it is sure that you may find something tasty, while patiently hunting for that Alaska bull moose.

As you hunt, all day, your thoughts may wander towards dinner time. Each day is an experience while moose hunting in Alaska. "How could the food possibly be any better than what you just ate for breakfast and lunch", you wonder. Well, the answer is that even though you are literally in the middle of nowhere or feeling that you could be sitting at some famous restaurant. Yes, the food is that scrumptious! Nothing beats a fine dinner of T-bone, grilled to perfection, by your guide. This T-bone may be served with a baked potato and vegetable, such as asparagus.

As soon as you kill a trophy Alaska bull moose you will begin eating the tenderloin. Oh, what a meal of perfection and satisfaction as you relive the moose hunt with every bite. There is so much food to choose from you will have a difficult time losing weight during your moose hunting journey in Alaska. Perhaps you will eat Italian one night with spaghetti and meatballs; another may be Mexican burritos with salsa. At some point, after a chilly rainy day, some hot Stagg Chili will really hit the spot along with a warm cup of cocoa. You may just feel like a good old American hamburger or hot dog with chips. Some night after a big day hiking, climbing a great Alaska moose hunting lookout point, or stalking a trophy bull moose, you will feel like eating pork chops and green beans to build your energy back up. Whatever the occasion may be you'll always enjoy sitting down to eat some precooked mesquite chicken fillets and rice. So easy, yet so delicious!

With this large quantity of good food, while moose hunting in Alaska, you won't know where to begin when you go home and try to describe it to those who didn't come with you. The best part about it, though is dreaming of going again. Your favorite moose hunting outfitter would no doubt be pleased to accommodate you and perhaps a hunting buddy on another hunting trip in  the state. This time, if you have already secured that Alaska bull moose, you may enjoy hunting for other critters available, such as grizzly bear, black bear or wolf. All the while you will be eating the best food that your Alaska moose hunting outfitter has to offer.
